samos® – Safety bus<br />
with coding<br />
Internal Safety Bus<br />
The power voltage is fed to the basic master<br />
module and all other basic modules. The<br />
powering of the other modules and the<br />
communication are handled via the internal<br />
<strong>safety</strong> bus with stable side contact strips – no<br />
more extra “lost part” plug connectors needed.<br />
More <strong>safety</strong> through coding<br />
In our improved samos system, each basic<br />
module (SA-BM; SA-BS) and each input module<br />
(SA-IN) is permanently coded according to its<br />
system group (1-3) and cannot be used in other<br />
system groups. Basic modules with the same<br />
coding cannot be put together. The modules<br />
SA-BM, SA-BS and/or SA-IN may not be used in<br />
combination with modules of the samos system<br />
that were delivered before 17 April.2012<br />
(up to construction level E-01) in Germany in<br />
an overall system with two or more basic modules<br />
of the same coding and at least one input<br />
module without the agreement of the patent<br />
owner of the German patent 100 20 075 (for<br />
