Rabbit Habits

A rabbit can be a gentle, friendly pet. Rabbits are
curious; they like to play with such toys as a
paper bag, a cardboard tube, or an old towel. A
tin can, as long as it has no sharp edges, is also a
favorite toy. Rabbits are frisky and need exercise.
They chew things, so electrical cords need to be
kept out of their reach. Rabbits eat special pellets
and enjoy treats like carrots, fruit, bread, and
crackers. Rabbits are very clean; with training,
they can learn to use a litter box, like a cat does.
A rabbit needs a cage, dishes, a water bottle, a
salt lick, a leash, and a brush. Sometimes a
rabbit may need health care from the veterinarian.
And all rabbits need love, love, love!
