Rabbit
Rescue
Hi everyone! My
name is MELROSE
and I'm a wonderful
boy who just needs
to have a patient
family. I come from
Melrose Florida
and I was one of 18
rabbits rescued by
GRR. My foster
mom says I'm a
great rabbit, good
with my litter box and really very sweet, but shy. In my former
home they never had time for me because there were too many
of us, so we didn't have a lot of human interaction. But I'm a
quick learner and would not be shy for very long with your love.
SETTING YOUR PET RABBIT LOOSE DOESN’T MAKE HER “FREE.”
Domestic rabbits lack the survival instincts wild rabbits use to fend for themselves. So they become food for
everything from raccoons and dogs to crows and hawks. And the “lucky” ones who don‟t get eaten, get
run over by a car or die from heat or disease. Please, before getting a bunny - or abandoning one -
contact your local humane society or visit the House Rabbit Society at www.rabbit.org.
IT MAKES HER “FOOD.”
