Vincent was born in 1933 in Jacquet River, N.B. He served with<br />

the Infantry in Germany and Canada. Vincent was a life member<br />

with the R.C.L. Durham Br # 77. He died in 2009.<br />

Vincent est né en 1933 à Jacquet River, N.-B. Il a servi avec<br />

l’infanterie en Allemagne et le Canada. Vincent était membre à vie<br />

avec la filiale LRC N O 77 Durham. Il a décédé en 2009.<br />

eDDY, robert C.<br />

WWII / Deuxième Guerre mondiale<br />

Robert was born in 1920 in Bathurst, N.B. He served in the <strong>Royal</strong><br />

<strong>Canadian</strong> Army Service Corps with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Engineers<br />

18th Field in North <strong>We</strong>st Europe. He was wounded in action on D-<br />

Day. He was awarded the Military Cross. Robert passed away in<br />

1986.<br />

Robert est né en 1920 à Bathurst, N.-B. Il a servi dans le Corps<br />

royal de l’intendance de l’Armée canadienne avec la 18e<br />

Compagnie du Corps du Génie royal canadien dans le Nord-<br />

Ouest de l’Europe. Il a été blessé au combat le jour J. Il a reçu la<br />

Croix militaire. Robert est décédé en 1986.<br />

eLDer, edward David<br />

WWII / Deuxième Guerre mondiale<br />

Edward was born in 1917 in <strong>New</strong> Jerusalem, N.B. (now Base<br />

Gagetown). He served in the 4th <strong>Canadian</strong> Army Bdg (Tank<br />

Corps) in Canada, England, and France. Edward was killed in<br />

action on August 14, 1944, near Caen. He rests in Brettville sur<br />

Laize.<br />

Edward est né en 1917 à <strong>New</strong> Jerusalem, N-B (maintenant Base<br />

Gagetown). Il a servi dans les rangs du 4 e Bdg de l’Armée<br />

canadienne (Section des Chars) au Canada, en Angleterre, et en<br />

France. Edward a été tué au combat le 14 août 1944 près de<br />

Caen. Il repose à Brettville sur Laize.<br />
