12. Related Party Transactions
The CSST is related to the FSST, of which it is trustee. The CSST did not conclude any
commercial transaction with this related party other than in the normal course of its activities and
under the usual commercial conditions. These transactions with the related party, accounted for
at exchange value, are presented in these financial statements.
13. Employer Contributions to Pension Plans
The CSST’s employees subscribe to the Civil Service Superannuation Plan, the Government and Public
Employees’ Retirement Plan and the Management Employees Pension Plan, which are administered
by the Commission administrative des régimes de retraite et d’assurances. These are multiemployer
defined benefit plans that guarantee payment at retirement and death.
The CSST’s obligations toward these government plans are limited to its contributions for regular
services as an employer. The CSST’s contributions charged to this year’s expenses amount to
$11,140,477 (2006: $10,590,100).
