Roof load limit: 100 kg (with 2 roof carriers) or 150 kg (with at least 4 roof carriers). Both figures apply only to normal roof. Maximum trailer nose weight: 100 kg.
For commercial use: in accordance with EU directive 3820/85, a tachograph is stipulated by law as of a gross train weight of 3.5 tonnes. A tachograph is not available ex factory for the Caddy
nor can it be retrofitted. This means that if the vehicle is used commercially, a gross train weight of 3.5 tonnes (GVW of the towing vehicle plus GVW of trailer) must not be exceeded. In the
case of the Transporter and Crafter, retrofitting of a tachograph is possible on all vehicles.
The payload ranges listed here have been established bearing in mind equipment that can be selected or omitted, and other features which do not belong to the standard scope of delivery or
standard specifications. A vehicle’s actual payload, which results from calculating the difference between the gross vehicle weight and the unladen weight, can only be determined by weighing
the individual vehicle.
All measurements listed are based on series vehicles. Due to production tolerances/tyre sizes/type of running gear, the actual dimensions can differ slightly from the figures given here. The
figures given in degrees for approach/departure angles and ramp angle apply to laden vehicles, taking into account the gross vehicle weight. The vehicle drawings are not to scale.
