Note that you will need execute permissions on the virtual web to be able to run the<br />

script code. You can set up these permissions by right-clicking the virtual web in IIS Manager,<br />

selecting Properties, <strong>and</strong> then viewing the Virtual Directory tab in the Properties<br />

dialog box. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the “Execute permissions” drop-down<br />

list, which should read “Scripts only” or “Scripts <strong>and</strong> executables” (see Figure 6-10).<br />

You can see the registered h<strong>and</strong>lers for various file extensions in IIS Manager. To view<br />

the configured h<strong>and</strong>lers, select your web site (e.g., “Default <strong>Web</strong> Site”) in IIS Manager,<br />

right-click it, <strong>and</strong> select Properties. In the Properties dialog box, select the Home Directory<br />

tab <strong>and</strong> then select Configuration. The Application Configuration dialog box will<br />

appear (see Figure 6-11).
