DGVCL has submitted the energy requirement for FY 2010-11 based on the actual
energy sales and the actual distribution losses for FY 2010-11. The following table
summarizes the energy requirement of DGVCL for FY 2010-11.

Commission’s Analysis
The DGVCL has computed the energy requirement based on the actual distribution
losses of 11.96%, actual energy sales of 9837MU and transmission losses of
4.12%.It can be seen from the table given above that the distribution losses and the
transmission losses are lower than that of approved in the Tariff Order.
