A Guided Tour of the<br />
PDCA Web Site<br />
<strong>Pile</strong>driver magazine is read by many people in our industry<br />
but the PDCA has more to offer. How many of you have<br />
visited the PDCA Web site The PDCA Web site, www.piledrivers.org,<br />
is another resource provided by the <strong>Pile</strong> <strong>Driving</strong><br />
<strong>Contractors</strong> <strong>Association</strong>. It complements this publication and<br />
provides a great deal of information about driven piles and our<br />
organization. For those of you not familiar with our Web site<br />
we offer this “Guided Tour” to acquaint you with the information<br />
available there.<br />
Home Page<br />
Like most Web sites, the Home Page is the starting<br />
point and gateway to all of the features posted on the site.<br />
Information on upcoming events, membership information,<br />
popular PDCA documents and links to other areas on the Web<br />
site can be found here.<br />
Along the top margin and along the upper left margin<br />
are links to other pages within the Web site. These pages are<br />
standard on the PDCA Web site and contain information<br />
regarding the association and driven piles. Those pages will be<br />
described in more detail later.<br />
Just below the top margin you will find rotating banner ads<br />
that announce upcoming events and provide links to additional<br />
information about those events. These banner ads change as<br />
events warrant. Below the banner ads you will find a list of Hot<br />
Topics noting upcoming industry events. These features allow<br />
you to keep up with PDCA news and events at a glance.<br />
In the lower left margin quick links are provided for items<br />
of particular interest. These items can be found at other locations<br />
within the Web site but the quick links on the Home<br />
page make this important information easy to locate.<br />

This page gets right to the heart of what the PDCA is all<br />
about. It outlines our purpose and the methods we employ to<br />
achieve our objectives.<br />

Interested in joining your fellow contractors, suppliers<br />
and engineers in promoting the driven pile This is the place<br />
to start. This page describes the services and benefits provided<br />
by the PDCA and displays links to additional information on<br />
membership categories. You can link to a membership application<br />
that you complete and submit online, or you can download<br />
