1. DEMONSTRATE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY<br />

Measurable Indicators:<br />

● Respect for individuals and the learning environment<br />

● Adherence to dress code policy<br />

● Regular attendance and participation in classes<br />

● Materials brought to class<br />

● Focus on daily agenda in each class<br />

● Use of an organizational system to track assignments and due dates<br />

● Timely completion of class assignments<br />

2. USE HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS<br />

Measurable Indicators:<br />

● Use of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation skills to solve complex problems<br />

● Comprehension and transfer of subject matter and skills across the curriculum to<br />

real-life experience<br />

3. COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY<br />

Measurable Indicators:<br />

● Proficient reading and reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking<br />

skills<br />

● Ability to integrate cross-curricular concepts and technology as modes of<br />

communication to show understanding and growth<br />

4. WORK COLLABORATIVELY<br />

Measurable Indicators:<br />

● Harmonious relations with others of diverse backgrounds and various points of<br />

view<br />

● Participation in partner and small group learning activities<br />

5. PRODUCE HIGH QUALITY WORK<br />

Measurable Indicators:<br />

● Access to, appreciation of, and accountability for a common core of knowledge<br />

(content standards)<br />

● Assignments completed that meet teachers’ specifications and/or rubric criteria<br />
