This attractive building overlooks Hog Sty Bay in<br />
George Town and is one of <strong>Cayman</strong>’s few remaining<br />
19th century structures. During its almost 200<br />
years, it has served as a jail, a courthouse and a<br />
place of worship. The Museum’s collection contains<br />
over 8,000 items, including a 14-ft. traditional<br />
handmade catboat, household and shipbuilding<br />
items, art and natural history specimens.<br />

PEDRO ST. JAMES<br />
An authentic Caribbean great house from the early<br />
18th century, Pedro St. James is the oldest building<br />
on Grand <strong>Cayman</strong> and has come to symbolise the<br />
birthplace of democracy in <strong>Cayman</strong>. The grounds<br />
also include an authentic outbuilding, original<br />
<strong>Cayman</strong>ian cottages and multiple gardens. Coupled<br />
with the dramatic Pedro Bluff, it makes for a<br />
breathtaking backdrop for outdoor activities —<br />
romantic island weddings, musical performances...<br />
just to name a few. A multi-sensory theatre presents<br />
a captivating 20-minute interactive programme<br />

MISSION HOUSE HISTORIC SITE<br />
This small home museum focuses on the home<br />
and its inhabitants’ role and involvement in<br />
establishing early religion and education in<br />
the island’s first capital, Bodden Town. Adjacent<br />
to the newly opened Harry McCoy Public Park is<br />
a fresh water wetland which offers birdwatching<br />
opportunities. Open Monday-Friday 9am-1pm.<br />
Reservations are encouraged. Closed on public<br />
holidays. Available as a venue for small, special<br />
events. Admission $5 adults, $2.50 children<br />

QUEEN ELIZABETH II BOTANIC PARK<br />
A must for avid photographers, the park features<br />
40 acres of flora and fauna from around the world,<br />
including 2 acres at Heritage Park which reflects<br />

Colour Garden and a large lake that is home<br />
