BRAC PARROT RESERVE
The Brac Parrot Reserve is dominated by pristine,
ancient woodlands on a very rough and rocky
terrain. A great diversity of native trees, including
species not present on Grand Cayman or Little
Cayman, support breeding woodland birds such
as the Red-Legged Thrush, White Crowned Pigeon
(“Bald Pate”) and Black-Whiskered Vireo. Parrots
are often seen and heard around the Reserve,
especially in the early morning and late afternoon.
In the winter months, the Reserve is filled with
neotropical migrant song birds, escaping cold
northern climates. For more information contact the

CAYMAN BRAC COMMUNITY PARK
The Community Park is a recreational area
of approximately 3.41 acres. It was created
by Government and members of the community.
It includes a playground, picnic area and a simple
nature trail. Located approximately half a mile west
of the airport.

NATIONAL TRUST,
CAYMAN BRAC DISTRICT
The Brac District of the National Trust meets
on the first Wednesday of each month and conducts
occasional hikes for members covering historic
and natural sites.

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS GARDENS
Located on the Bluff, the park was the vision
of the Cayman Brac Quincentennial Committee
and is the home of the Wall of Honour, a relief
of Christopher Columbus and several boardwalks
and gazeboes constructed to fit in with the natural
surroundings. The Wall of Honour, has the names
of 500 persons who have made a significant
contribution to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman
over its 500 year history.

CAYMAN BRAC HERITAGE HOUSE
The perfect place to see our local artists at work,
view a video depicting things of yesteryear or enjoy
our cultural events. Scheduled displays provide
a wonderful opportunity to see things that are
uniquely Caymanian. Remodeled as a modern
version of an Old Caymanian House, the house
and the permanent artefacts on the estate grounds
pay tribute to past traditions of the Sister Islands.

CAYMAN BRAC MUSEUM
Go back in time and let the people of Cayman Brac
show you what life was like in the good ole days.
The oldest museum in the Cayman Islands is housed
in a former Government building. The museum
displays artifacts and items of the island's seafaring
history, cultural heritage and Brackers' past way
of life. There is no charge for admission and
souvenirs are available for sale. The museum
is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.
