National Flag Carrier, <strong>Cayman</strong> Airways<br />

Entry Requirements Guests of the <strong>Cayman</strong> <strong>Islands</strong> are required<br />

to present a valid passport and must complete a customs and<br />

immigration form. All guests must possess a return airline ticket.<br />

Time Zone Eastern Standard Time is observed in <strong>Cayman</strong>,<br />

but there is no change for daylight savings.<br />

Getting There Scheduled flights to Grand <strong>Cayman</strong> are available<br />

on the National Flag Carrier <strong>Cayman</strong> Airways, Air Canada, American<br />

Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, United<br />

Airlines, US Airways and WestJet. A host of charters also provide<br />

non-stop flights from other US cities. Inter-island travel is available<br />

with <strong>Cayman</strong> Airways via <strong>Cayman</strong> Airways Express.<br />

Foreign Exchange The <strong>Cayman</strong> <strong>Islands</strong> dollar (CI $) is on a fixed<br />

exchange rate — $0.80 CI equals $1.00 US. The US dollar is<br />

accepted throughout all our <strong>Islands</strong>. Automated Teller Machines<br />

are also available that give both US and CI dollars.<br />

Credit Cards American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa<br />

are widely accepted.<br />

Duty Free In George Town, our capital, duty-free shopping is a high<br />

art. Be sure to check out the merchandise from names like Versace,<br />

Tiffany, Gucci, Baccarat, Cartier, Rolex, Nikon and more.<br />

Medical Facilities The <strong>Cayman</strong> <strong>Islands</strong> has a full complement<br />

of modern medical facilities on Grand <strong>Cayman</strong> and <strong>Cayman</strong> Brac,<br />

including government hospitals and private medical centres. Little<br />

<strong>Cayman</strong> is staffed by a full-time nurse. The <strong>Cayman</strong> <strong>Islands</strong> Hospital<br />

Complex on Grand <strong>Cayman</strong> also houses a decompression chamber.<br />

Being British From the landmarks of our first capital Bodden Town,<br />

to the tiny Stake Bay Museum and the cricket pitches of West Bay;<br />

guests of the <strong>Cayman</strong> <strong>Islands</strong> are never far removed from the<br />
