TEKFLO® Ductile Iron <strong>Fittings</strong><br />
<strong>Incledon</strong> offers a comprehensive range of high performance fittings combining the inherent strength of ductile iron with a push-fit joint and the reliable sealing<br />
system of <strong>PVC</strong> pipe. The features of the <strong>Tekflo</strong>® Ductile Iron <strong>Fittings</strong> range include:<br />
1. Specification<br />
<strong>Tekflo</strong>® utilises modern casting techniques and ductile iron(SG42) as standard to allow for optimisation of design and strength. The fittings<br />
conform to (EN 12842.2000) standards. All fittings are rated for operating working pressures of 16BAR (0º-25ºC)<br />
The <strong>Tekflo</strong>® fittings are SABS approved in accordance with the SANS 52842:2007 specification<br />
2. Deflection<br />
The <strong>Tekflo</strong>® fitting range is capable of 5 Degree angular deflection and longitudinal withdrawal with no loss in performance. The joint is sufficiently flexible<br />
to accommodate for ground movement along a installed pipeline and to allow for adjustment of the route during laying.<br />
3. Fusion Bonded Epoxy / Bitumen Coating<br />
The <strong>Tekflo</strong>® fusion bonded epoxy fittings are coated internally and externally to a minimum thickness of 250 microns. The coating is suitable for potable<br />
water and eliminates microbial corrosion, known as Tramline Corrosion. <strong>Fittings</strong> are also available with a bitumen coating.<br />
4. Ease of Installation<br />
The <strong>Tekflo</strong>® range has been designed, with special care around the socket profile and sealing systems to ensure ease and speed on installation and<br />
dismantling.<br />
5. Extensive Product Range<br />
<strong>Tekflo</strong>® features the largest and most comprehensive range of flanged and socketed ductile iron fittings, available in diameter 50mm through to 315mm.<br />
