Huggins accepted a research<br />
assistantship at University of<br />
Colorado–Boulder. She began her<br />
Ph.D. studies in the civil systems<br />
program of the civil, environmental,<br />
and architectural engineering<br />
department in January.<br />
Danielle Sobol applied to medical<br />
school. She volunteers with the New<br />
Jersey University Medical Center.<br />
Rebecca Heslin and Dana<br />
Pardini both began their<br />
professional careers last fall. Rebecca<br />
is assistant director of <strong>Lafayette</strong>’s<br />
development research, while Dana<br />
is a global customer service<br />
representative with Bloomberg L.P.<br />
In sports news, Joel Hindelang<br />
works as a student assistant coach<br />
for the <strong>Lafayette</strong> volleyball team.<br />
Former Patriot League field<br />
hockey MVP Carolyn Cabrey has<br />
a new title: assistant coach for the<br />
Central Michigan University field<br />
hockey team.<br />
Former basketball players Sarah<br />
McGorry and Jim Mower both<br />
received Victory Scholarships to attend<br />
graduate school in Europe, while<br />
playing basketball and coaching youth<br />
teams. Sarah is pursuing an MBA at<br />
University of Limerick in Ireland. Jim<br />
is studying in the MBS program at<br />
Ulster University in Northern Ireland.<br />
Rob Delaney and Ryan Willen<br />
also decided to continue their<br />
basketball careers in Europe.<br />
Both signed to play professionally<br />
for one year with the Danish<br />
Aalborg Vikings.<br />
Scott Kominkiewicz also lives<br />
abroad. After studying in Japan in<br />
2011, he returned to teach English<br />
for two years with the Japan<br />
Exchange and Teaching program.<br />
