Safety Performance<br />

Safety performance at <strong>Grange</strong>’s<br />

operations over the course of <strong>2011</strong> saw<br />

the Total Recordable Injury Frequency<br />

Rate (TRIFR) fall from 9.1 (31 December<br />

2010) to 4.7 (31 December <strong>2011</strong>),<br />

a 48% improvement. This improving<br />

trend continues to reflect the strong<br />

and increased emphasis on safety<br />

management at the operations. We know<br />

that a safe mine is a productive one.<br />
