CLI Command Syntax<br />

The syntax of commands used in a Command Line Interface (CLI) is described according to the following<br />

conventions:<br />

Commands are in bold.<br />

Parameters are in plain text.<br />

command parameter1 parameter2 Alternative parameters are separated by a vertical bar (|).<br />

command parameter1 parameter2 { parameter3 |<br />

parameter4 }<br />

Parameters in italics must be replaced with a user-defined value.<br />

Square brackets indicate a required choice between two or more<br />

parameters.<br />

Curly brackets indicate an optional parameter(s).<br />

All commands and parameters are presented in the order they must<br />

be entered.<br />

<strong>System</strong> Requirements<br />

Each workstation used to connect to the <strong>ROS</strong> interface must meet the following system requirements:<br />

• Must have one of the following Web browsers installed:<br />

▪ Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher<br />

▪ Mozilla Firefox<br />

▪ Google Chrome<br />

▪ Iceweasel/IceCat (Linux Only)<br />

• Must have a working Ethernet interface compatible with at least one of the port types on the RUGGEDCOM<br />

device<br />

• The ability to configure an IP address and netmask on the computer’s Ethernet interface<br />
