GSP: HE’S A BRAND
fCANADIAN athlete Georges
St-Pierre is both a mixed martial arts
UFC champ, and a celebrity whose
brand has transcended his sport
thanks to the astute use of social
media. Everything he does is an
opportunity to build his fan base and
gather more likes. As such, this
superstar athlete has much in
common with many consumer
brands today. At the Globe And Mail
conference today at 15.30 in the
Debussy, St-Pierre and the Montrealbased
Sid Lee team will be
demonstrating how to build and
maintain a social persona with
maximum impact — and minimal
damage.
