Course Outline:<br />
At the completion of The Certificate III in Music,<br />
students will be able to:<br />
Explain how the Australian Music Industry<br />
works<br />
Promote their works<br />
Build business and management skills<br />
Perform in a local amateur environment, in a<br />
group and/or as a soloist, using improvisation<br />
Compose and arrange a song<br />
Use MIDI technology in performance and composition<br />

music industry in a variety of music technology and<br />
related fields, including live technology, multimedia<br />
and recording technology.<br />
Course Outline:<br />
At the completion of the Certificate III in Music<br />
Industry (Technical Production), students will be<br />
able to:<br />
Work under supervision as a live and/or studio<br />
technician I a local environment<br />
Work safely, maintaining work/contractual relations<br />
Understand the way the music industry functions<br />
Build listening and aural training skills<br />
Operate a non-commercial studio<br />
Set up and operate PA for a small venue<br />
Create a website for an artist, and/or a video<br />
clip<br />
