It aims to help employees remain in, or return to, work quickly after a period of absence. People can self-refer, calling 0800 019 2211, and referrals are welcome from GPs, other health professionals and partner organisations. This service will be embedded in the new MSK pathways in every health board and its impact evaluated. Opportunities to raise the profile of work-related health issues and signpost people who may benefit will be part of the MSK pathway process. The programme is based on telephone-case-managed support for employees.
