Thomas Dressendörfer<br />
Andy Molnar has a proven track record in the dental and<br />
healthcare industries having held senior managerial roles<br />
in global business sales and country management. Under<br />
his leadership as General Manager of <strong>Straumann</strong> UK from<br />
2006–2009, the company rose to national market leadership<br />
in implant dentistry. In 2009, Mr Molnar moved to Group<br />
headquarters as Senior Vice President Global Regenerative<br />
Sales and Member of the Corporate Management Group. In<br />
this position, he successfully orchestrated and supervised<br />
key product launches, in addition to driving significant<br />
growth in global sales of oral tissue regeneration products.<br />
He joined <strong>Straumann</strong> in 2005 from SIDHIL, a UK medical<br />
equipment company, where he was Sales and Marketing<br />
Director. However, the bulk of his career – eleven years – was<br />
spent in sales and management roles at GlaxoSmithKline<br />
Pharmaceuticals.<br />
Andy Molnar holds a Bachelor of Science degree from<br />
Reading University, in Physiology and Biochemistry, and<br />
an MBA from Bradford University. He was appointed to his<br />
current position at the beginning of 2012.<br />
Frank Hemm<br />
responsible for biomaterials product management and<br />
development from 1997 to 2002. He was also a co-founder<br />
of Kuros Therapeutics. Dr Matter is a member of the Industrial<br />
Advisory Board (IAB) for the Department of Mechanical<br />
& Process Engineering (DMAVT) of the ETH Zurich.<br />
He joined <strong>Straumann</strong> in 2002 as Head of the Biologics and<br />
Research Division and headed the Products Division from<br />
2005 through <strong>2011</strong>. He was appointed to his current position<br />
at the beginning of 2012.<br />
Dr René WILLI<br />
Swiss (born 1967),<br />
Executive Vice President Business Unit Surgical<br />
René Willi acquired much of his professional experience<br />
working in and for the medical device industry. His career<br />
began in engineering and sales – at EMS Inventa and then<br />
VonRoll Innova – and included international assignments<br />
in China and Europe. He then spent two and a half years at<br />
McKinsey&Company as a management consultant focusing<br />
on international mandates in the pharmaceutical and<br />
medical-device industries. In 2003, he moved to Medtronic<br />
to take on responsibilities in International Product Management<br />
and Marketing in the Cardiovascular Sector.
