About This Teacher Packet
This teacher packet describes the Junior Docent School Program. Its purpose is to
familiarize you with the program and to serve as a resource for implementing it into your
curriculum. The Junior Docent School Program develops its goals and objectives in
accordance with Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and the Milwaukee Art Museum’s
mission, and uses the Museum’s Collection as a springboard for its interdisciplinary tours
and activities.
We want to acknowledge and thank three participating schools’ teachers who have shared
their expertise and/or materials in updating this packet. Their input was greatly appreciated!
