Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 North Art Museum Dr.
You may park in the North War Memorial parking lot, the O’Donnell
Park Parking Garage across the street, or the Museum’s underground
parking structure. Parking fees apply based on each facility. A school
bus will be arranged for student transportation. Enter the Museum at
the main entrance of the Calatrava-designed addition and proceed to
the Lubar Auditorium from the west galleria. Admission fees are not
charged for the event.
Please bring any family members or friends who would be interested in
hearing the student presentations. Museum admission stickers will be
given to you as you enter the auditorium.
Each Junior Docent will share his/her presentation of 4–5 minutes in
the galleries, in front of the selected art object. Everyone will
reconvene in the Lubar Auditorium. Plan for 1 – 1½ hours, depending
on the number of students graduating. It is recommended that the
students practice their presentations ahead of time.
The Museum allows photography—but without flash, as it may harm the artworks. Video
cameras are also accepted and encouraged! This is a very special event!
Please keep in mind that the Museum does not allow gum, candy, food, drinks, or
oversized bags, and that the artwork should never be touched. Younger children attending
will need to be supervised.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
