Infusion Center Nurse
Before and/or after your transplant, you will need to come to the Infusion Center at the
Moores Cancer Center as an outpatient for laboratory (lab) draws, intravenous (IV) fluids,
blood products and medications. The specially trained registered nurses will carry out these
tests for you and work closely with your doctor and coordinator to maintain quality care.
Stem Cell Processing Laboratory (SCPL)
The SCPL team includes a Medical Director, a supervisor and specially trained technicians
that process and store the cells that are collected during apheresis or bone marrow harvest.
