The Cardiff is the essence of what a round reel should be: strong,
responsive and easy to use. The Cardiff is built with a die cast aluminium
frame and a machined aluminium spool for strength. Deep anodized
stamped sides plates help inhibit corrosion in a saltwater environment.
Complete control over backlashes and free spool is achieved thanks to
Shimano Variable Brake System (VBS). The VBS system is under the
handle side of the reel, allowing you to adjust the weights of your brake
quickly without removing the spool.
Corvalus is a simple no nonsense reel designed to achieve its primary
objective of being affordable. Quality & function are not compromise
as a result of this objective. Corvalus still sports some of the feature
its more expensive sibling possesses. Its 1 piece precision aluminum
diecast frame provides rigidity & VBS brakes, ensures proper spool
braking performance. One way stopper together with 3 ball bearings
provides strong hookset & smooth rotation.
