Fall Arrester<br />

• Fall arresters automatically stop the free fall of a person in the event of a fall<br />

• Should a fall occur, cable is pulled out of the arrester at an accelerating rate. When a cable speed of<br />

approximately 1.5 metres per second is reached the unique twin disc pad braking mechanism is activated,<br />

arresting the fall quickly and smoothly greatly reducing the resultant forces acting on the body<br />

• When the load is released the cable retracts into the block<br />

• Galvanised Steel wire rope as standard, Stainless Steel on request<br />

Access winch<br />

The G-MAN/136/200 winch has a high mechanical efficiency and a<br />

light, smooth action making personnel hoisting easy.<br />

The internal mechanism is case hardened to give a long, wear<br />

resistant life as well as toughness and durability.<br />

Cable retrieval rate of 50mm per handle revolution or 500mm per<br />

handle revolution when in rapid retrieval mode.<br />

Note: ideally to be used with a manual retractable fall arrest block.<br />
