ALA on LC: While we agree that<br />

adding a definition <strong>for</strong> this term would<br />

be useful, we have some suggestions<br />

<strong>for</strong> improvement. First, we believe<br />

“oratoria” should be changed to<br />

“oratorio.” Secondly, because <strong>of</strong> the<br />

second proposed definition <strong>of</strong> “text” in<br />

the LC recommendation, “The words<br />

<strong>of</strong> a non-dramatic musical work (e.g.,<br />

song, cantata),” we believe that “text”<br />

should be replaced in the proposed<br />

definition with “words.” The new<br />

definition would then read:<br />
