Air conditioning technology is dynamic: requirements<br />
relating to energy efficiency, air quality, ergonomics<br />
and resource conservation are growing all <strong>the</strong><br />
time. With its wide range of cutting-edge laboratory<br />
and testing facilities, <strong>the</strong> research and development<br />
centre we opened at our Lingen (Germany) headquarters<br />
in 2012 has everything we need to respond<br />
quickly and flexibly to current needs using new<br />
developments and advancements. It also gives us<br />
<strong>the</strong> freedom to think ahead to <strong>the</strong> future, developing<br />
intelligent innovations designed to spur on advances<br />
in <strong>the</strong> field of air conditioning technology.<br />
But we aim to go even fur<strong>the</strong>r than this.<br />
We view <strong>the</strong> facility as a regional hub for creative exchanges<br />
of ideas with scientific institutions, vocational<br />
training centres and, last but not least, designers<br />
and architects who actually use <strong>emco</strong> air conditioning<br />
technology on a day-to-day basis.<br />
For us, <strong>the</strong> <strong>emco</strong> research and development centre is<br />
an incentive to consistently monitor our performance<br />
as well as seek out improvements and innovations.<br />
At <strong>the</strong> same time, it reflects a company philosophy<br />
that is based on sustainability and responsibility.<br />
