4. Use the FREQUENCY (down arrow) button to highlight the appropriate protocol.
As you highlight each protocol, a description of the protocol’s parameters displays to the
right.
5. Press the Display (Enter) button to select the highlighted protocol.
The main screen displays with the parameters of the protocol you selected.
6. Verify the parameters of this program, and use the appropriate buttons on the Operator
Interface to adjust any setting, if necessary. For example, to adjust the time, press the up and
down arrows on the TIME button.
7. To begin therapy, perform all the procedures outlined in the section entitled “Preparing the
Patient’s Skin for Ultrasound Therapy” on page 34. Then continue with step 6 of the section
entitled “Starting, Stopping, and Interrupting Therapy” on page 37.
