October 17, 2010 While at the Thornwood Town Canter An examination of the
Patrol units on scene showed the Pleasantville units were equipped with video
systems and one also had a License Plate Reading System. Information was taken
on the patrol car video systems located in 2 Pleasantville Police cars at the scene.
Hard drives in these units could not be removed at the time due to the fact they were
locked to the mounting platform in the trunks of the vehicles. The camera in Car 58
had the cables disconnected from the back of it. The License Plate Reading system
in Pleasantville Car had a laptop mounted in the cars cabin which was removed and
secured by this investigator.
October 18, 2010 I Conducted an examination of the License Plate Reader (LPR) by
removing the hard drive from the laptop and examining the contents. Located
images of license plate and vehicle taken on the morning of the incident. Photos
were burned to disk and tot for further investigation.
October 20, 2010 After consultation with the manufacturer of the in car video system
utilized by the Pleasanville PD I secured the keys to the units and removed the hard
drive units from the systems. An examination of the hard drives shows no video files
recorded on the date of the incident on either of the in car systems. Log records for
system activity indicate the system time and date was set correctly.

Castle PD, Hastings PD, and Ossining PD.

The Police cars at the scene when I arrived on October 17, 2010 were Pleasantville
cars 58 & 59 and Mount Pleasant cars 43 & 42.
