they have attracted some exceptional
football talent and fostered its development
in a very professional manner.
Women’s Football
In 2012 the West Adelaide Football Club
embraced women’s football, Australia’s
fastest growing sport. The Bloods Women’s
Team under the coaching of WAFC Talent
Manager, Andrew Marks, won the premiership
in their debut year in the Bloods colours.
Co-Captain Cass Hartley won the Dutschke
Medal for the best player in the competition.

Thank You
In what was a very successful and
progressive year for our Club, there are
many people to thank at all levels. Firstly we
would like to thank the coaches and support
coaches of the highest order for all their
support given to the Club that contributed
to the overall success of 2013. Secondly
we would like to thank the property staff,
training staff, medical support team, fitness
coaches, statisticians and time keepers
who were totally committed and provided
great service in their respective areas. The
Club would also like to thank the players
from every level for their hard work and
commitment in making 2012 such a
progressive year. Lastly to our Members and
supporters, we thank you for supporting the
Bloods and look forward to going one better
in 2013.
