VISION<br />
The <strong>of</strong>fice transfers agricultural technology to<br />
peasants. It encourages farmers in participatory<br />
research on the use <strong>of</strong> indigenous herbs as<br />
medicine to treat animal diseases. To evaluate<br />
and analyse farmers indigenous knowledge on<br />
animal disease control and pest management.<br />

VISION<br />
NCTPE aims to promote and preserve beneficial<br />
traditional practices such as breastfeeding. In<br />
addition, NCTPE aims to eradicate harmful<br />
traditional practices which affect the health <strong>of</strong><br />
women and children, such as female genital<br />
mutilation; early mariage; unspaced child birth; milk<br />
teeth extraction, etc.<br />
