VISION<br />
AMREF Kenya works in East Africa to improve<br />
health care provision and assists rural<br />
communities to improve social conditions. AMREF<br />
collaborates with governments in developing<br />
health education training programmes; supports<br />
workshops where local people are employed to<br />
build homes and health centres for the<br />
community; operates a mobile health service for<br />
remote regions, distributes books and health<br />
learning materials and undertakes research<br />
programmes<br />
