Parent /Teacher Interviews (Years 11 & 12)<br />

A letter detailing the arrangements for the VCE Parent/Teacher Interviews including the procedures for accessing the<br />

on-line booking system (PTO) will be included with your daughter’s Semester 1 Report.<br />

Parent /Teacher Interviews (Years 7, 8, 9 & 10)<br />

A letter detailing the arrangements for the Years 7 to 10 Parent/Teacher Interviews including the procedures for<br />

accessing the on-line booking system (PTO) will be sent home in the week commencing Monday, August 15 th .<br />

DIRECTOR OF FAITH AND MISSION<br />

Our Japan Disaster Appeal was held June 6-10 th . We had badges on<br />

sale and the Japanese DVD Totoro shown on 3 lunchtimes. This raised<br />

$250, and a Panya Food Stall raised $140. On Friday lunchtime was a<br />

performance by <strong>Academy</strong>’s Japanese Dance Group and origami making.<br />

Class Masses for the last two weeks <strong>of</strong> term are as follows: 8 Red &<br />

8 Silver on 20 th June; and 9 Blue on 27 th June. All welcome, especially<br />

parents and grandparents <strong>of</strong> students in each class. Mass starts at 8.05<br />

and finishes at 8.30 sharp.<br />

Reports<br />

Teachers are currently preparing to write the semester one reports on your daughter’s progress. The reports will<br />

contain information regarding your daughter’s organisation for class, completion <strong>of</strong> homework and other ‘work related<br />

capabilities’. The report will include grades for the assessment tasks completed in the semester. There will also be a<br />

general comment that will seek to clarify the strengths <strong>of</strong> your daughter’s application to her studies as well as possible<br />

challenges.<br />

For Year 7 to 11 the assessment grades will represent percentage scores as indicated below.<br />
