total ranks sixth in <strong>UMKC</strong> history ... ranked third<br />

in the Mid-Con in total assists and assists per<br />

game ... also had 67 kills, 48 blocks and 17 service<br />

aces ... recipient of the Lester<br />

Milgram Award, presented annually<br />

to a <strong>UMKC</strong> student-athlete who has<br />

displayed consistent sportsmanship<br />

and outstanding play.<br />

As a Sophomore (2003) -- Played<br />

in all 33 matches ... recorded 1,214<br />

assists (10.38 apg), fourth-best season<br />

in school history ... placed third<br />

in Mid-Con in total assists and<br />

assists per game ... also hit for a .241 percentage<br />

with 114 kills, 49 blocks and 14 service aces.<br />

As a Freshman (2002) -- Played in all 32 matches,<br />

recording 1,130 assists (9.83 apg) ... that total<br />

ranks seventh in school history ... also recorded<br />

201 digs (1.75 dpg), 41 blocks and 14 service<br />

aces.<br />

High School -- A two-time all-Sunset League<br />

performer ... competed against some of the best<br />

prep competition in the nation ... played club ball<br />

for Orange County Nike, one of the premier club<br />

programs in the country ... attended same high<br />

school and played for same club team as former<br />

<strong>UMKC</strong> standout Katie Keating ... chose <strong>UMKC</strong><br />

over Regis and California-Irvine.<br />

Personal -- Born October 27, 1984 ... daughter<br />

of John and Loretta Waltemeyer ... majoring in<br />
