<strong>Objects</strong> Maintaining object types Object Type Maintenance window The Object Type Maintenance window allows you to define: • a new object type • the maintainable elements that can be assigned to this object type • the attributes that can be assigned to this object type • the staff members who can be allocated to maintain an object. The Object Type Maintenance window has two main sections: • a list of all object types on the left side of the screen • tabs with details of the selected object on the right-hand side of the screen. Sequence number of the object. Buttons Button Description Add a new object type. See Adding new object types (on page 8). Delete the selected object type. The following window is displayed. To confirm the deletion: 1. Type delete. 2. Click . Note: You can only delete an object type if it is not in use. Move to the first object type. Move to the previous object type.
