(d) to regulate, except as may be provided by any
rules made by the Minister, the methods of
wiring of premises, the types of apparatus that
may be used, the inspection and testing of
wiring or apparatus and such other matters as
may appear expedient in relation to the supply of
energy;
(e) to regulate the performance of any acts necessary
or expedient for the proper management of the
supply of energy to consumers.
61. The Minister may by notification in the Gazette
exempt from any or all of the provisions of Part V of this
Act and of rules made under this Act —
(a) any installation, or part thereof, owned by or
worked by or on behalf of the Corporation;
(b) any installation, or part thereof, constructed
before the commencement of this Act;
(c) any other particular class of installation or
apparatus,
and may by similar notification cancel any exemption so
notified.
