Academic Support and Counseling Office:
• The office was founded in October 2007 with the Faculty council
approval in October 2007.
• The academic support and counseling office objectives:
o Providing the Psychological support, through a group of
Professors of Psychiatry, to the students who are subjected to
psychological and nervous stresses.
o Discovering the students who are prone to academic stumbling
due to Psychological reasons and looking after them.
o Providing the academic support to successful students.
• The office is linked to the office of the Vice Dean for Undergraduate
Education and Students Affairs.
• Office hours: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Sunday to Thursday).

• The job description of each group is set according to the office
objectives and some work regulations are approved then classified,
followed and maintained according to each separate case or situation.
• The office promises to perform a periodic follow-up to all the students
who are prone to psychological stress, and guarantees complete
secrecy.
