E-Courses<br />
• Cairo University is implementing a project for funding educational<br />
electronic courses which will be available on the university website<br />
for the students.<br />
• The faculty <strong>of</strong> medicine has finished the transformation <strong>of</strong> parts <strong>of</strong> 13<br />
courses in<strong>to</strong> an electronic form for the years 2006/2007, and<br />
2007/2008.<br />
• These courses are available on the university website<br />
http/www.elc.cu.edu.eg-courses-medicine.<br />
• The courses are His<strong>to</strong>logy (2 courses) Parasi<strong>to</strong>logy (2 courses),<br />
Forensic <strong>Medicine</strong> & Toxicology, Clinical Pathology, Gynaecology &<br />
Obstetrics, Derma<strong>to</strong>logy, ENT, Community <strong>Medicine</strong> (2 courses) and<br />
Pathology.<br />
• 7 courses are being prepared (2009-2010).<br />
• The E-courses are designed under the supervision <strong>of</strong> Vice-Dean for<br />
Education, by Qualified faculty staff members. The Head <strong>of</strong> E-<br />
Courses Committee is Assist. Pr<strong>of</strong>. Sahar Talaat, Assist. Pr<strong>of</strong>. <strong>of</strong><br />
Pathology.<br />
