OXYGEN SUPPLEMENTATION<br />

• Start oxygen at 5 L/min<br />

• If no improvement, increase to:<br />

– 6-10 L/min via facemask or<br />

– 10-15 L/min via facemask with reservoir<br />

• When improving, titrate down 1-2 L/min, allowing at least<br />

2-3 minutes to evaluate effect.<br />

• Strive to maintain saturation >90%<br />
