<strong>Palram</strong> won the contract to manufacture<br />
polycarbonate roof panels for the Athens<br />
<strong>Olympic</strong> Stadium roof.<br />
The roof, <strong>de</strong>signed by the acclaimed Spanish<br />
architect Santiago Calatrava, is a signature of the<br />
Athens <strong>Olympic</strong> Stadium Complex.<br />
<strong>Palram</strong> <strong>de</strong>veloped and manufactured PALSUN<br />
<strong>UV2</strong> SOLAR OLYMPIC to meet the exacting<br />
specification of the architect and safety concerns<br />
of the Greek authorities. The product is specially<br />
colour matched and UV protection on both si<strong>de</strong>s,<br />
40% light transmission, 60% heat reflection, and<br />
abrasion resistance. The 4750 sheets were supplied<br />
exactly according to the schedule .<br />
This was another example where <strong>Palram</strong> stood<br />
out among the producers of polycarbonate sheet<br />
with the ability to rapidly supply the best solution<br />
for customized applications anywhere they may<br />
arise.<br />
