Palram won the contract to manufacture
polycarbonate roof panels for the Athens
Olympic Stadium roof.
The roof, designed by the acclaimed Spanish
architect Santiago Calatrava, is a signature of the
Athens Olympic Stadium Complex.
Palram developed and manufactured PALSUN
UV2 SOLAR OLYMPIC to meet the exacting
specification of the architect and safety concerns
of the Greek authorities. The product is specially
colour matched and UV protection on both sides,
40% light transmission, 60% heat reflection, and
abrasion resistance. The 4750 sheets were supplied
exactly according to the schedule .
This was another example where Palram stood
out among the producers of polycarbonate sheet
with the ability to rapidly supply the best solution
for customized applications anywhere they may
arise.
