Applied Polymer Composites
This international peer-reviewed journal, will cover all aspects of polymeric composites. The journal has been specially created
to publish significant results immediately as Rapid Communications, and important results as short papers; in addition to regular
Research Papers and Review Articles.
The aim of this journal will be to provide a balance between materials science and mechanics aspects, basic and applied
research, and high technology and high volume (low cost) composite development.
The launch of a new international peer-reviewed journal needs some justification in an already well covered subject area of
composites science. We believe the journal will offer a unique opportunity for authors and researchers to publish their latest
results in an optimum amount of time.
The Journal offers rapid and reliable communication of new basic fundamental results and of experience gained during
development of technology from laboratory to pilot plant to industry and finally into the market. The Journal aims to bridge the gap
between research and development and the practical, commercial applications of polymers in a wide range of industries.
Current developments and likely future trends will be covered across key areas of the composites industry, together with existing
and potential opportunities for the innovative use of composites materials.

Polymers from Renewable Resources will publish leading research that is focused on the development of renewable polymers and
their application in the production of industrial,consumer,and medical products.
Subjects covered in this journal will include biopolymers, environmental impact, life cycleanalysis, materials selection, plastics
processing, product development, production processes, end of life strategies, synthesis, characterisation and properties of
materials prepared usingrenewable resources.
The renewable polymer industry is growing rapidly as it is attractive to both industry andconsumers,they help:
• reduce carbon emissions,
• reduce landfi ll due to biodegradability and are combustible,
• lessen dependence on oil.

Since its inception in 1993, Polymers and Polymer Composites has provided an on going forum for the publication of expertly
