3.9 Quality control procedures<br />

Field teams followed <strong>the</strong> methods suggested <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> RADWQ project handbook. Officers from <strong>the</strong><br />

Water Authority <strong>of</strong> Jordan and M<strong>in</strong>istry <strong>of</strong> Health who were <strong>in</strong> charge <strong>of</strong> <strong>quality</strong> control checked <strong>the</strong><br />

record sheets before pass<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>m to <strong>the</strong> data manager. The field results were also double-checked <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> laboratory every week. No sample failed <strong>the</strong> <strong>quality</strong> control screen and <strong>the</strong>refore no suspect<br />

samples were recorded.<br />
