<strong>New</strong> <strong>London</strong> <strong>Hospital</strong> has two operating room suites and a special procedure suite offering traditional<br />
surgical services for both inpatient and same day surgeries. The operating room is staffed by highly trained<br />
surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and surgical scrub technicians.<br />
Anesthesiology<br />
The anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists provide services for surgical procedures as well as<br />
postoperative pain management and preoperative anesthesia evaluations. The anesthesiologists also work<br />
with the interdisciplinary team of the Special Care Unit and Inpatient areas to provide pain management.<br />
