LABORATORY<br />
<strong>New</strong> <strong>London</strong> <strong>Hospital</strong>’s Baker Memorial Laboratory is a full service lab providing on site testing for the<br />
majority of all tests ordered by area physicians. The technical staff are certified by the American Society<br />
of Clinical Pathologists or its equivalent. The Lab is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.<br />
Unusual or low volume tests are sent to one of several outside reference labs.<br />
Emergency laboratory services are available 24 hours per day.<br />

PATHOLOGY<br />
The pathology service offers a complete range of anatomic and clinical diagnostic and consultation<br />
services. Cytologic examination of specimens from all body sites and tissue types are routinely performed.<br />
