PRIMARY CARE
Our primary care physicians (PCP’s) are located at New London Hospital, 273 County Road; and in
Newport at the Newport Health Center, 11 John Stark Highway. PCP’s specialize in either Internal
Medicine or Family Practice Medicine. Physicians who specialize in Family Practice have received training
in treating and caring for the entire family from pediatrics to geriatrics. Internal Medicine physicians
specialize in adult medicine. The primary care physician services provide high quality healthcare with an
emphasis on preventive and primary care services. New London Hospital’s primary care service also has
the ability to refer patients to specialists or diagnostic testing.
