ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 81 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF GLOUCESTER ENTITLED, “TRAFFIC” DESIGNATING A PORTION OF
LAKELAND ROAD (CR 747) AS A MID-BLOCK CROSSWALK
Mr. Bianchini opened the public hearing. There being no comment, the public hearing was closed.
Mr. Mercado made a motion to adopt, seconded by Mr. Hutchison. Roll call vote: All in favor.

ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 81 OF THE CODE OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF GLOUCESTER ENTITLED, “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC”
PROHIBITING LEFT-TURN MOVEMENT FROM THE WAWA AT 800 N.
BLACK HORSE PIKE ONTO NB RT. 168
BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of Township of Gloucester, County of
Camden, State of New Jersey that Chapter 81 of the Code of the Township of
Gloucester Be and is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 81-25 entitled, “Turn Prohibitions” be and is hereby
amended by adding the following:
Intersection Turn Prohibited Movement Prohibited
WaWa Store Left Turn Left Turn
800 N. Black Horse Pike
Rte. 168 Driveway
SECTION 2. The property owner be and is hereby authorized and directed to erect
“No Left Turn” signs designating the foregoing a “No left Turn” area in accordance
with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways
(MUTCD)
SECTION 3. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey Statute,
N.J.S.A. 39:4-124, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this
Ordinance shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars $200.00)
or imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen (15) days or both.
SECTION 4. If any part or parts of this Ordinance are for any reason held to be
invalid, such decision shall not take the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 5. All former traffic ordinance or part of ordinances of the Township of
Gloucester in conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are
hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not affect or prevent the prosecution or
