Beckoning Gibbous<br />
Pale periwinkle panes, patterned in rhombuses<br />
Reflected, ghostlike, into my room<br />
My window’s whispers mesmerize me<br />
Sharing the secrets of the cerulean moon.<br />
Lunar lullabies of<br />
Lakes and starry eyes, of<br />
Whispered sentiments, of<br />
Heartbreak’s shrill laments.<br />
