as porcelain fireflies—sunrise— gnaw on tales foretold.<br />
Their crimson ramparts bleed rosary-pea reflections<br />
crumbling Crescent’s kingdom of tides and bastions.<br />
Their lips touch momentarily, sweetly<br />
