Hello everyone!<br />
President's Message<br />
I hope this issue of the MM finds you, your families and your<br />
Morgans all well. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas<br />
and happily welcomed in the New Year with your families and<br />
beautiful Morgans.<br />
News to report:<br />
In Victoria, we have had the Melbourne Summer Royal Horse<br />
Show in January. I have to say the MHAA ring would have<br />
been the biggest attendance of Morgans I have ever seen! Great<br />
job everyone, your horses were immaculately presented and<br />
all worked beautiful, so well behaved and I was very proud to<br />
watch you all and catch up with everyone. I am looking forward<br />
to seeing all of your photos in the MM.<br />
Website: The MHAA website has been updated with a wonderful<br />
new ‘Classifieds’ section for people to advertise their For Sale<br />
Morgans, so please go and check it out.<br />
The ANMS is being held in WA this year in March, it will be<br />
here before we know it. Preparations are in full swing, it’s going<br />
to be a wonderful show. It looks like a great venue and I am very<br />
excited for WA as this is their first ever ANMS.<br />
MHAA Positions: There are still a few positions available for<br />
NPO and SLOs in some States; we are really in need of some<br />
people putting their hands up for these roles to ensure our State<br />
members are kept up to date. For more information, please<br />
contact our Secretary, Deb Dowden.<br />
MHAA Horse Deals advertising group campaign: If anyone<br />
is interested in being part of the monthly group advertisement<br />
for Horse Deals, please contact our Secretary, we would love<br />
for you to be involved. We need a minimum number to be able<br />
to run this advert; it’s really important for the promotion of<br />
the breed and for our members to try to support and keep this<br />
campaign going as many people look at it and see our logo and<br />
remember the breed.<br />

Australian Morgan Issue 2<br />
will be released in time for ANMS 2015. This issue<br />
includes a focus on Western Australia, articles on<br />
conformation, performance Morgans, breeding<br />
nicks, a feature on Lippitts, and much much more.<br />
The magazine will be for public sale for the fi rst<br />
time at ANMS. Pre-orders are accepted now, and<br />
will be posted as soon as the magazine lands.<br />
For a limited time, AM Issue 1 will be included<br />
free with any order of AM Issue 2<br />
$9 per copy, $5 postage & handling<br />
